What if I don't get any location?

Vishwajit Pureti

In very rare cases, you might notice that your tracker is unable to provide an accurate location. This can happen in areas with weak or no cellular coverage. The tracker relies on a stable cell network to determine its location and send that information to you. When the cellular signal is weak or unavailable, it may affect the tracker's ability to perform these tasks efficiently.

Why Does This Happen?

Cellular networks are essential for the tracker to communicate its location data. In areas with poor signal strength—such as remote locations, underground spaces, or regions with limited network infrastructure—the tracker may struggle to obtain the necessary data and transmit it to your device. This can lead to delays or inaccuracies in the location information you receive.

What Can You Do?

If you encounter this issue, you can wait for a short period and try fetching the location again. The tracker will continue to attempt to connect with the cellular network and may successfully retrieve the location data on subsequent tries. There’s no limit to how many times you can re-try, so feel free to check back as often as needed.
